Fired For Being a HERO?!
Okay, I just read a story that made me literally say ‘WHAT?!’ out loud to an empty room. You have got to hear this. 🤯
Picture this: you’re working at a Little Caesars in West Virginia, and a guy comes in with scissors and a knife, trying to rob the place. It’s a terrifying situation that most of us would freeze up in. But not this employee. This absolute legend of a woman fights back. She literally disarms the attacker and holds him down until the police can get there. She’s a hero, right?! 🦸♀️
The town thinks so. The internet thinks so. But you know who didn’t? Her employer. Little Caesars FIRED her. 😳
I am not kidding. She was fired after risking her life to stop a violent crime. The reason? Apparently, she violated a company policy that says employees shouldn’t confront robbers. I get it… corporate lawyers, liability, insurance… blah, blah, blah. 🙄 But there has to be a line somewhere, right?
This feels so wrong on every level. You do something incredibly brave, protect the store and possibly yourself and others, and your reward is a pink slip? 😤 The internet is absolutely dragging the company for this, and honestly, can you blame them? This is corporate policy gone completely mad. This woman deserves a medal, not unemployment. 🏅
