Okay, I had to read this headline THREE times because my brain absolutely could not process it. For a solid 30 seconds, I lived in a world where Cardi B welcomed a new baby boy… with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. 🤔 I was like, “Wait… what about Offset?! Did I miss a few chapters?!” 😅
It turns out, some poor soul at a news desk somewhere must have had their wires completely crossed. They sent out a news alert that mashed up two totally separate stories, and in doing so, created the most random and chaotic celebrity pairing of the year. It was a beautiful, beautiful disaster. 😂
And you KNOW the internet had a field day with this one. 🤣 Within minutes, the memes started flying. People were tagging Offset, asking if Stefon Diggs was going to be at the baby shower, and wondering what kind of athletic/musical prodigy this child would be. The jokes were writing themselves, and they were glorious.
Of course, the correction came out eventually, confirming that Cardi and Offset are the proud parents. But the damage was done. For a brief, shining moment, we all lived in a world where a rap superstar and an NFL touchdown machine had a baby together. Honestly? It’s the kind of chaos we need more of. Never change, internet.
